    This is a slim volume, but really packed with information and a lean, sensible format. It first defines many kinds of anxiety- and the symptoms thereof- then offers effective ways to combat those symptoms. Wisely, the authors know that mollifying symptoms is only part of the job: the final third of the book offers strategies and lifestyle changes- diet, exercise, meditation - to attack the problem at the root.

    This is probably the easiest to read anxiety handbooks I have come across. Despite the academic research, it’s not too wordy or lengthy. Though fighting anxiety is a daily battle for me, this is the handbook I reach for to help me overcome some of my issues.

I now understand that in order to manage anxiety, lifestyle changes need to be made. The steps offered here are creative, in many cases fun, and seem to just make sense. This book is for everyone that wants to live a more peaceful life.
